The dungeon was huge.

The entrance was on the bank of a river, but it was impossible to know where the main body of the dungeon was.

Seekers and researchers have been trying to find out where the dungeon is, but they have yet to find out.

Various devices for locating the dungeon have not worked properly, and people said that the dungeon location might be in “another world”.

Anyway, that’s not something I, a newbie seeker, have to worry about.

I continued my dungeon exploration, making it a top priority not to get lost.

Along the way, I encountered and fought that dog-faced monster twice.

I managed to win both times without getting hurt, though not by much.

And so it was when I fought off the third kobold, including the first one I encountered.

I felt a surge of strength in my body.

I called up my status and saw that my level had increased.

After a little hesitation, I acquired the [Mapping] skill.

Then, like when I call out the status screen, I say the name of the skill.

“[Mapping].”

Then a map screen appeared in my field of vision, pushing the status board a little to the side.

On a square, translucent board, the [Mapping] skill displayed my current position, the route I have taken so far, and the location of the magic circle that is the entrance to the dungeon.

There are no indications of places I have not walked yet, but I could fill that part from now on.

“Okay. This skill is a must, right?”

To be clear, what I fear the most is “getting lost” rather than fighting with kobolds.

If anything, I might have taken this skill before the [Earth Heal].

After leveling up and acquiring the skill, I continue onward.
