Chapter 27: Hi I am Sebastian.

EDEN ESTATES

SAINT VILLA.

Mai slept in till afternoon unaware of the designs Lorca had for her. She stirred in the bed and opened her eyes and stretched her hands murmuring ''wow, I really slept like a pig''. Mai got down from the bed and looked at the room before going out.

Mai got down to the hall after taking her bath and changing into a yellow flowery long dress and a belt around it with puffy hands. Aunt Cate saw her getting down and met her down the stairs and spoke ''Young Miss, you're finally awake? I almost called the young Master because I was worried''

Mai looked at her and smiled and walked towards the dining table saying ''I'm hungry, what did you prepare?''

Aunt Cate walked to the kitchen and brought out a pot of vegetable soup and placed rice and some side dishes on the table. Mai's appetite awakened instantly after seeing the food and smiled saying ''thank you''.

Aunt Cate watched the girl gulped down the food hastily and wanted to scold her but decided against it after remembering how the girl almost chewed her to pieces for hugging her alone. Honestly, she didn't understand her one bit. She confused her a lot with her behaviour. Going back and forth with how she treated her was too stressful to even think about.

Since the day Aaron Saint told her to not mind her actions so much because she was still a little sick after being at the hospital for so long, Aunt Cate had decided to let the girl be. She felt pity for the girl as she didn't even know who she was. As someone who had served the young master since he was a little boy, she had come to know when to speak and when to just watch.

Something told her that their relationship was going to turn into something else, but she didn't have anything against the girl because ever since she came into the picture, Aaron Saint had become happier and not so cold anymore.

She made a decision that, whatever their relationship was, as long as the girl could keep the young master happy, she would support them, so watching the girl eat the food she had prepared heartily, she felt satisfied and fulfilled. After all, who wouldn't be happy to see that their efforts are being appreciated?

Aunt Cate shook her head at the silly way the girl was munching her food and went upstairs to clean before going home. Today was her husband's birthday and the young master had given her a fat envelope in the morning before leaving she was in a hurry to go and do some shopping for her husband.

Mai turned and watched the housekeeper walking upstairs to clean her room and smiled. Luckily, she was fast enough to use the secret door connecting Aaron's room to hers through the walk-in closet. She couldn't imagine the look on Aunt Cate's face if she had seen her coming out of Aaron's room.

Mai didn't want the woman's mind to run wild with obscene thoughts of Aaron Saint and her. She was just using him to sleep after all.

Today, Mai couldn't contain her joy as it was the day her laboratory was going to be completed. Aaron Saint had promised her the other night that some people would bring the necessary things she needed and also deliver all the materials she asked for and she got assurance from him that as long as she was able to make only non-harmful things, he will support her all the way.

Mai smirked and laughed in her head. Aaron had no idea who she was really. She wasn't someone who was used to obeying rules. She had made up her mind to make what he asked for but she would also make some stuff that would be useful to Maijune in case they find themselves in danger.

Lorca was never to be taken lightly. Although, Aaron Saint promised to take care of him, Mai knew better than anyone that Lorca wasn't one to stop just because he was faced with a powerful opponent. Mai was sure, Lorca would find another way to get her back and when that time comes, she would have to protect herself.

Mai barely finished her food and head the doorbell buzz and turned around to look at the door.

Mai opened the door and saw a handsome boy in front of her. She looked at the boy who had the aura of 'the boy next-door look' while holding a tissue in her hand.

Lucas who had long taken the identity of Sebastian smirked when he saw the way the girl looked at him. She was much prettier in real life and the picture didn't do much justice to her. The yellow flowery dressed matched her skin tone and her face without makeup was so clean and poised. He was really going to feast on her when the time came to take her.

Sebastian casually took the tissue from Mai clearly seeing the effect he had on her. He stepped closer to her and wiped the left over rice piece on her lips and said :'HiI am Sebastian and I am here with my men to fix your laboratory''

Aunt Cate heard the noise and went downstairs and saw Mai looking entranced by the boy before her and walked to them saying ''Young Miss, who are they?'' Mai shook her head and turned to Aunt Cate.

''He said he is here to fix the laboratory. Aunt, please show them the way, I will be in my room''.

And just like that, Mai ignored the boy and went upstairs to her room.

Sebastian looked at the girl walking upstairs with a curious expression. Aunt Cate led Sebastian and the men with him into the laboratory.

Mai sat on her bed and slapped herself lightly berating herself ''what was that about? Did he think I would fall for him just like that? And why did I even look at him like that? Well, is understandable, he is handsome. But, how dare he touch my lips? Does he have a death wish? Forget of it, no need to be angry at someone I won't see again''.

Aunt Cate knocked at Mai's door and entered holding Mai's phone ''Young Miss, your phone. Is a call from the young Master''

Mai's mood lifted at the mention of Aaron's name and quickly took the phone from Aunt Cate.

''Hello, the phone was at the dining table. I forgot to take after I finished eating''.

''Mm''

''The people are here, they brought the equipment to set up the laboratory''

''Are you that happy?''

''Off course, I am'' Mai spoke as she walked down towards the laboratory to check. ''I think I can finally do whatever I want. I told you, the first perfume I make will be for you. A special scent that belongs to only you. That way I can easily tell is you anywhere I feel the scent. The one I will make will only be for you''.

''Then, do I have to get a patent on it? Since, is going to be for only me. That way, you won't go back on your words and give it to someone else''. Aaron Saint smiled as he played with his pen while speaking to Mai.

''Okay, do that. I give you permission. After all, I won't find someone special enough to give it to apart from you''

Sebastian frowned as he heard the girl's voice drawing nearer. Who was she talking to in that tone? Was it Aaron Saint? Such thoughts filled Sebastian's mind and turned his face dark with a strange feeling he couldn't understand. He was just here to find out first-hand information about her. He had bribed the company delivering the equipment in order to enter the villa with them since the security was tight.

Watching the girl from the window smiling as she spoke to another man made him feel somewhat unhappy. He was utterly displeased that she could shake him off like that and go to her room without a word or even a thanks after he used his heavenly hands to touch her lips. Such an ungrateful bitch.

Mai ended the call with Aaron Saint and entered the room to see the men busy setting up the laboratory. Sebastian stood at the door and spoke to Mai ''Is this laboratory for you, Miss?''

Mai looked at everyone but him as she replied casually.

''Yes, I felt like playing so I asked for a laboratory''

At mention of the word playing, Sebastian became speechless. He looked at the girl and grew curious about her every passing minute. From the file Lorca gave him, he found out that the girl inherited some wicked talent genes from her scientist father but hearing her mention the word play got him confused.

Did she ask for a laboratory and made Aaron Saint spend not less than a million dollars on equipment and everything simply because she wanted to play?

''Huh?'' Sebastian was caught off guard by her question but quickly smiled and shook his head giving his reply ''no, not at all. As long as it makes you happy?"
