Chapter 29: Making a perfume that only had your scent

Aaron Saint walked closer to her and she stepped back and tripped. She tried to hold Aaron Saint and ended up pulling him and they all fell on the bed with Aaron Saint on top of her. Aaron Saint cleared his throat and Mai turned and saw him ''Mr. Saint, when did you get here? I didn't even notice you?''

''The coat is pretty, right?'' Mai straightened the coat as she said that.

"You said they smell the same, so you needed to feel me to get the right scent. I'm here, you can do it''.

''Feel my scent. I initially came home early so that I could watch how you were going to produce a perfume for me but, I ended up sleeping''

Aaron Saint sipped the juice and Mai looked at his lips and shook her head and turned away speaking ''first, give me the juice. You can't eat in the lab, is dangerous''

Mai took the glass before Aaron Saint could protest and drank all the juice and place the glass in a cushion at a distance for safety.

Aaron Saint looked at her trying to remind her he just drank from it and decided against it in order not to make things awkward.

Mai looked at the litmus papers and turned to Aaron Saint ''then, I am going to feel you for a while. Bear with it, I'm trying to make a scent that belongs to only you''.

Her apology immediately diminished every obscene thought in Aaron Saint's head as he nodded and looked away.

Mai bent a bit and tried to compare the scents together. Her eyes lit up in excitement and she screamed and hugged Aaron Saint and said ''I found it, your scent. I finally found it''. She laughed so happily and Aaron Saint smiled with her as they smelled the pink litmus paper with Aaron's scent.

Mai felt so accomplished and happy at that moment.
