Not every animal protagonist MC needs tot urn back into one, overcoming the challenges not having a human body presents is also fun to read about Damn,I fatfingered the f#ck out of this. What I was trying to say is, not every non humanoid MC needs to become humanoid this sounds very interesting tho in the long run it could get boring if the Mc can't turn into a human or a humanoid stingray at least. So does he turn human? Not yet,but he really doesn't need to. The ocean animals are almost as intelligent as humans, so he has no reasons to go talk to the humans specifically Why so? maybe, it could go down a similar route as the "Tales Of The World Devouring Serpent" has went though and not necessarily need a human/humanoid transformation Ohh
